The Rurik, originally known as SN-95380.2 ZZX, is a modified medium Artillery Cruiser with history stretching back to teh decades before the Great Solar War. Manufactured by Akula, it retained its sleek charm despite taking a beating as the flagship of the brutish PCF General Agrajag on the frontlines of the War. It was acquired by scavengers with an eye for a hidden gem from its final resting place in the PCC shipbreaking yards. Sinley Bay's Akula Tuners have given it a once over.

Although spartan in looks, the Rurik can dish out significant damage for a tier-I vessel. However, with minimal armor, it’s extremely vulnerable to attack. It is at the helm of the Rurik where all sharp-shooting captains learn to hit targets—and discover the consequences of missing them.
After taking a beating as the flagship of the brutish PCF General Agrajag, the Rurik was picked up by scavengers and has since been restored it to its former modest glory.
